hammer-furious or sundering?
i recently started using hammers more often and was wondering....would the 10% furious or 20/20 sundering mod be more practical for a hammer? well first let me ask-how much extra damage does the 20% ap even add on a hammer? also, most hammer skills cost high adreniline so would the furious be better?

If you want to chose one of those, then Furious. With Sundering, you get maybe an extra 5-6 damage once every five hits. But you should stick with Vampiric on hammers, IMO... much more damage output and with an IAS you'll negate the health degen with no problem.

They both suck. Use vampiric or elemental instead IMO.

On that note, what is the concensus on zealous hammers? Obviously you'd be using vamp or ele most of the time, but is a zealous swap worthwhile since the hammer swings so slow?

Zealous hammers are kinda worthless. The zealous mod (rightfully) doesn't scale across weapon swing times, so you lose out pretty big if you use a zealous hammer. I personally think it's either worth using a Vampiric or its worth using an Elemental. If I had to pick a 3rd, furious would win *ever* so slightly over sundering because of the utility. If I ever want something to die, I switch to vamp, which makes random sundering useless... but not random adrenaline gain.

All right, that's pretty much what I figured. I wouldn't ever consider it if energy wasn't so tight on a hammer (depending).

I use zealous on all Warrior weapons and get on just fine, even though the energy gain is not as good as a sword or axe it still far improves upon a warrior natural energy gain of 2 pips.

i dont have any use for zealous because i dont need to worry about energy. and i do have and icebreaker specificaly for fighting warriors. i also never liked vampiric for any weapon, so i guess ill go furious.
